Together is local-first and designed to collect as little information as possible. This policy explains what the app stores, what iCloud syncs or privately shares with your chosen partner, the limited analytics and purchase information processed by Google Analytics for Firebase and RevenueCat, and the optional analytics on this website.
Relationship data and photos
Names, dates, moments, appearance choices, and reminder preferences are stored on your device. Structured relationship data can sync through your private iCloud database across devices using the same Apple Account. Custom background photos remain on the device where you selected them. If you pair with one partner, Together uses a private CloudKit share to make the shared relationship names and date, plus only the photos and optional captions you intentionally send, available to the two share participants. Together does not use a public CloudKit database for this content. On iOS 18 or later, a one-time CloudKit invitation may be wrapped in a Together universal link so it can open the app from messaging services; the CloudKit invitation stays in the URL fragment and is not sent to or logged by this website.
Together Pro purchases
Apple processes payments. Together uses RevenueCat to verify purchases and subscription access. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier plus product, receipt, transaction, subscription status, and technical information needed to provide purchase access. Together does not send RevenueCat names, relationship dates, photos, moments, or other relationship content.
Notifications and widgets
Milestone and anniversary reminders are scheduled locally through Apple notification services. Widgets read a small snapshot stored in the app's private App Group. When you turn on little hello alerts, Together's push service, hosted on Cloudflare, receives only a random pairing ID, a random device ID, your Apple push token, and whether you invited or joined, so Apple can deliver a generic alert to your person. It never receives names, dates, captions, or photos, and it removes this information when you turn alerts off or unpair, or after 180 days of inactivity. None of these features send relationship content to Google Analytics or RevenueCat.
App analytics and advertising
With usage analytics enabled by default, Google Analytics for Firebase receives a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, session and app lifecycle data, selected product interactions, purchase metadata, device, operating-system and app information, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from network information. Together never sends names, relationship dates, moment identifiers or titles, photos, day counts, or other relationship content. Together has no advertising, does not use analytics for personalized ads, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Website analytics
This marketing website uses a separate Google Analytics 4 property, not the Firebase property used by the iOS app. After you accept cookies, Google may receive page views, App Store button clicks, referrer information, device and browser details, and approximate location inferred from network information. Analytics cookies are not set until you accept. Declining keeps Google Analytics unloaded on this site. Website analytics is never linked to your iOS app-instance identifier, relationship content, or a Together account. Advertising storage and personalized ads remain denied. Event-level data is configured for two-month retention.
How long information is kept
Local relationship data remains on your device until you remove it or delete the app. Synced structured data and partner-shared content follow private iCloud storage and Apple Account controls. Together keeps at most the three newest partner photo records in the shared CloudKit zone. Canceling an unanswered invite or unpairing as the share owner deletes that shared zone and invalidates its invitation; leaving or losing access clears the pairing and shared-photo cache from that device. Google Analytics event-level data for the app and this website is configured for two-month retention. Turning app analytics off stops future collection and resets the analytics identifier on that device; declining website cookies stops future website collection. Aggregate information already sent remains subject to Google's retention and deletion processes. RevenueCat keeps purchase verification information according to its own privacy policy and legal obligations.
Your choices
In the Together app, you can turn off Share usage analytics anytime in Settings. On this website, you can accept or decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner, and change that choice later with Cookie settings in the footer. You can also use Together without a Together account, disable iCloud access in system settings, remove local app data by deleting the app, and manage or cancel subscriptions through Apple. Family Sharing availability follows your Apple purchase and family settings.
